Job summary

AAON is seeking a Sales Application Engineer to prepare quotes for custom data center cooling solutions and modular HVAC systems. You will gather engineering data, develop product designs, and coordinate with customers, reps, and internal departments to ensure on-time project completion.

The role requires strong CAD skills, blueprints review ability, and excellent communication. 3+ years in sales and a technical degree are preferred, with a focus on profitability and timely manufacturing release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience preferred
• Strong computer skills including MS Office
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD/Inventor
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn in-house software for engineering design and selection

Responsibilities

• Assist sales reps in assessing potential to meet customer needs
• Gather engineering data for projects
• Provide technical information to reps and customers
• Prepare quotes with accurate pricing based on customer specifications
• Coordinate project with internal departments to ensure timely delivery
