Job summary

Nortek Air Solutions is seeking a capable professional to prepare quotes and develop proposals for custom HVAC equipment from Oregon. You will coordinate with sales, engineering and operations to translate customer needs into accurate pricing and submittal documentation.

You will review drawings, gather data, and learn Nortek software while supporting the sales team to secure project profitability and timely deliveries. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales or relevant field experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to communicate technically.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a timeline-driven environment.
• Independent analysis and judgment to resolve non-standard problems.

Responsibilities

• Create proposals and sales drawings.
• Single-source the project contact for all issues and manage the project.
• Assist sales staff in applying company products to customer needs.
• Manage contract modifications to protect project profitability.
• Prepare accurate project buyout lists and documentation.
• Provide technical support to sales staff and customers.
• Prepare quotations by pricing from specifications and documents.
• Gather engineering data and review drawings for layouts and designs.
• Learn in-house engineering design software and Nortek manufacturing tools.
• Create and manage project submittal documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
