Sandvik Coromant in the Northwest IN / Northeast IL region is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive technical sales and customer success. You will live around Southern Chicago, Merrillville or Valparaiso, and partner with customers on CNC machining, tooling solutions, and CAD/CAM applications.

You will build relationships, deliver the full Coromant offering, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on CNC machining, CAD/CAM, and cutting tools experience.
• Proven success in technical sales or customer-facing roles.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel ~10% overnight.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Deliver the full Coromant product and service offering.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow market share.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver total customer solutions.
• Consult on CNC machining and tooling applications.
• Maintain and optimize the sales pipeline using CRM tools.
