Guhring USA is seeking a driven sales-focused engineer with a CNC background to own a Cedar Rapids territory. You will collaborate with manufacturing clients to understand machining challenges, present engineered tool solutions, and guide customers through the sales process.

In this role, you’ll deliver technical presentations, support applications, and cultivate long-term relationships, leveraging your machining expertise to drive productivity and tool adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience as Machinist, CNC Programmer, Application Engineer, Sales Engineer or Technical Sales Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining and cutting tools.
• Customer-facing experience within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a territory of existing and new customers.
• Provide technical application support and product recommendations.
• Deliver customer visits, demonstrations, and technical presentations.
• Develop new business while building long-term partnerships.
