Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking a Technical Sales & Promotions Engineer for the Structures product line. You will drive technical marketing, provide regulatory guidance, and develop consultative solutions for engineers, owners, and contractors in civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include territory development, implementing a marketing and sales system, showcasing civil engineering expertise, and leading field marketing to public agencies and DOTs.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Mechanical, or a related engineering field; P.E. preferred.
• 3+ years of industry experience.
• Ability to understand the engineer of record, site owner, and contractor's needs and guide them toward the appropriate product solution for each project.
• Effective communication of technical information using consultative marketing skills.
• Proficiency in interpreting civil site plans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel between 30-40% within your assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Technical Marketing: Drive marketing, promotion, and sales for Bridge and Structures product lines with regulatory focus and consultative solution development.
• Territory Development: Build relationships and opportunities with current and potential customers including specifying engineers and agencies in the territory.
• Marketing Expertise: Implement a defined marketing and sales operating system focused on continuous improvement.
• Technical Knowledge: Showcase civil engineering and infrastructure expertise related to Bridge and Structures.
• Pricing Strategy: Develop budgetary pricing for initial project design and final pricing strategies.
• Field Marketing: Lead territory field marketing directed at public agencies, DOTs, and regulatory agencies.
