Job summary
Johnson Controls is launching its Early Career Sales Engineering (BEST) Program in New York for recent engineering graduates to start a technical sales career. You will be paired with a mentor and supported by a nationwide network of sales professionals from day one.
Through classroom training, hands-on experience, and customer interactions you will develop technical expertise, business acumen, and relationship-building skills to succeed in a high-growth sales career with clear advancement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required with anticipated graduation date Dec 2026 or May/June 2027.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills expected.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively, U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured 6‑month sales development program
- Learn Johnson Controls' HVAC equipment, services, and building solutions
- Support sales activities, proposals, and project opportunities
- Build relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and building owners
- Present technical solutions that help customers improve building performance and sustainability
- Partner with local sales and operations teams to deliver successful customer outcomes
