Job summary

ARaymond Network is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer in Michigan to understand customer technical needs and propose optimal fastening and assembly solutions. You will drive sales, support pre- and post-sales activities, and lead in technical areas for the sales team.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work with cross-functional teams, and comfortable customer-facing engagement. Occasional travel and in-office collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years in product development, technical sales, or a comparable role.
• 2+ years in automotive manufacturing technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers' technical needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Lead in technical areas to assist Account Managers with deals.
• Prepare cost estimates by reviewing plans and coordinating with engineers.
• Explain specifications and assist in product selection and configurations.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics to meet specs and timelines.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to customers and prospects.
