You will work with cross-functional teams on concept development, proposals, and project scopes, while presenting technical solutions and building trusted relationships throughout the sales process.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and electrical documentation.
• Experience reviewing RFQs, drawings, specifications, and supporting docs.
• Ability to develop technical concepts and equipment solutions.
• Track record of preparing technical proposals, quotations and project scopes.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to understand manufacturing needs and project goals.
• Review RFQs and drawings to determine project requirements.
• Develop technical concepts and equipment solutions for automated systems.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and cost estimates.
• Estimate engineering hours, labor, materials, and components.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and project management.
• Present concepts and proposals to customers and answer questions.
• Identify risks and cost-saving opportunities before project awards.
• Support sales presentations, meetings and project handoffs.
• Build strong customer relationships as a trusted technical resource.
• Occasionally visit customer sites and industry events.
