Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years in product development, technical sales, or similar roles.
• Experience developing metal and plastic fastener and assembly systems, or comparable products.
• 2+ years providing technical solutions in the automotive manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers’ technical needs and propose solutions.
• Lead technical areas to assist with product selection and configurations.
• Support pre-sales and post-sales with technical guidance.
• Develop product specifications with customers and drive ARaymond positioning.
• Prepare cost estimates by studying plans and consulting with engineers, operations, and other teams.
• Explain cost reductions and operations improvements to gain acceptance.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve issues during development.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers and prospects.
• Maintain relationships with key customers and provide training as needed.
