Standard Metrics, an AI-driven financial data platform, seeks a Data Solutions Engineer to blend engineering depth with customer-facing impact. You'll own data workflows, integrations, and AI-powered automation across a book of customers, designing solutions that improve reporting and benchmarking in day-to-day operations.

You'll collaborate with Data Solutions and Customer Success, write playbooks for a nascent services function, and translate customer needs into actionable technical

Formación

• 3–5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role (solutions engineering, data engineering, or similar).
• Strong SQL skills; ability to write complex queries and analyze data.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience with REST APIs: design, consume, and debug integrations.
• Interest in AI; familiarity with prompt engineering or LLM workflows is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to work on-site with customers.
• Experience with modern data infra (Snowflake, dbt) a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken communication for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with customers to identify data challenges and design technical solutions using data sources and integrations.
• Deploy and optimize AI-powered tools and workflows; educate teams on prompt engineering and LLM capabilities.
• Build internal tooling to reduce manual work and improve platform reliability.
• Execute bespoke data operations including custom SQL reports and backend queries for unique needs.
• Own API schemas, ingestion cadence, and database connections.
• Translate repeatable patterns into product requirements and work with Engineering to productize solutions.
• Support internal engineering workflows and triage small-but-impactful bugs.
• Carry a light data parsing book of work to stay grounded in day-to-day tasks.
