Eastern Regional adhesives & sealants supplier in the Elkhart/Goshen area is seeking an Outside Technical Sales Engineer to service Northern Indiana, Southwestern Michigan, and Chicago. This role sells adhesives and sealant materials to industrial markets, engaging design and production engineers and purchasing professionals to grow both existing and new business.

Eastern Regional adhesives & sealants supplier is looking to fill an outside Technical Sales Engineer position in the Elkhart/Goshen area. This is a position selling adhesives & sealant materials to the industrial markets in the Northern Indiana, Southwestern Michigan, and Chicago Region. Overnight travel is minimal ~10%.

Responsibilities: Have your home office in, or near, the Elkhart/Goshen area and cover a territory that is Northern Indiana, Southwestern Michigan, and Chicago. Call on design and production engineers and purchasing professionals to grow existing and new business. Sell a broad range of industrial adhesives & sealant materials. Aggressively prospect for and develop new accounts. Build strong and lasting business relationships that produce repeat business.

Requirements: 3+ years of industrial sales experience. Experience selling adhesives and/or sealant materials is strongly preferred. A college degree is required, but the concentration is open. A team player with a winning personality. Must be motivated to win and have a desire to accomplish goals. Strong sales and communication skills. We are looking for a closer and a relationship builder. The market is Industrial Product Assembly, Heavy Truck/Trailer, RV, Automotive, Electronics, etc. Excellent follow‑up is required. Computer skills will be needed. Willingness to travel overnight if needed.

Company Information: Eastern Regional adhesives & sealants supplier. Employee‑owned.

Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 base, plus an annual bonus plan targeted at 20% of base salary, plus a lucrative uncapped commission plan which begins after hitting the sales target for the territory. Company pays the IRS mileage reimbursement rate for business use of your personal vehicle. Strong company benefits package. Eligible to take part in the company ESOP after one year with the company.
