Job summary

Asana is seeking a senior leader to own technical revenue accounting strategy and governance, overseeing end-to-end quote-to-cash and revenue processes. You will partner with Sales, RevOps, Legal, Product, and IT to align accounting for complex Enterprise deals and strategic initiatives.

This role requires 10+ years in technical revenue accounting, a CPA, US GAAP ASC 606 expertise, and hands-on experience with NetSuite, Zuora, and Salesforce CPQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 10+ years in technical revenue accounting and finance leadership.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP ASC 606 and revenue recognition.
• Experience authoring technical accounting memos; Big-4 background desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical revenue accounting strategy and governance for end-to-end quote-to-cash.
• Partner across Sales, RevOps, Legal, Product, IT to evaluate accounting in complex deals.
• Integrate across Product, Sales, and Marketing to build product knowledge.
• Establish frameworks for SaaS, consumption, and partner models; escalate policy needs.
• Ensure scalable quote-to-cash and ASC 606 alignment; update enterprise policies.
• Lead automation projects with Finance Transformation and cross-functional teams.
