Job summary

Asana, a leader in human + AI collaboration, seeks a seasoned revenue accounting leader to drive strategy, governance, and technical memos for complex SaaS and consumption models. You will partner across executive teams to shape policy and scale quote-to-cash, ensuring ASC 606 compliance and strong cross-functional alignment.

You will leverage NetSuite, Zuora, and Salesforce CPQ expertise while advancing automation with Finance Transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 10+ years in technical revenue accounting and finance leadership in a public multinational.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP revenue recognition (ASC 606) and memos.
• Experience with NetSuite, Zuora Billing/Revenue, Salesforce CPQ.
• Ability to design technical accounting frameworks for SaaS and consumption pricing.
• Big-4 or equivalent advisory background desirable.
• Strong leadership and executive communication; cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead Strategy & Governance of revenue accounting across quote-to-cash.
• Partner across Sales, RevOps, Legal, Product, IT on accounting implications.
• Achieve deep product alignment with Product, Sales, and Marketing.
• Serve as primary technical revenue accounting authority; set frameworks.
• Ensure scalability of processes; revenue recognition per US GAAP ASC 606.
• Own enterprise-wide revenue recognition policies and memos.
• Lead automation projects with Finance Transformation and partners.
