Job summary

CGL seeks a Technical Sales Manager to grow our relay business in American markets with a direct-sales model. The ideal candidate blends an engineering background with hands-on B2B sales, and understands relay products and their applications.

You will build and manage direct relationships with OEMs, Tier suppliers, and end-use customers in home appliances, solar PV, energy storage, and EV charging, coordinating cross-functionally and traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related engineering.
• 5–8 years of technical direct sales, business development, or account management.
• Practical knowledge of relay products and key selection considerations.
• Experience with home appliances, solar PV, energy storage or EV charging industries.
• Ability to read diagrams, schematics, and test reports for customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute direct sales plans for relay products in assigned industries and territories.
• Identify, qualify, and win new business directly with OEMs, Tier suppliers, and partners.
• Manage the full direct sales cycle from prospecting to post‑sales follow‑up.
• Translate customer requirements into relay solutions with engineering teams.
• Build long‑term relationships with engineers, purchasers, and program managers.
• Develop opportunities in home appliances, solar PV, energy storage, and EV charging.
• Maintain opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and competitive intelligence.
• Coordinate internal resources to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Travel within the territory to visit customers, trade shows, and events.
