Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Technical Recruiter for Environmental Health & Safety to own end-to-end recruitment across SpaceX functions. You will source, screen, interview, and onboard top talent, partnering with IT, EHS, and security teams.

Expect a fast-paced, autonomous role with tours, interviews, and offer management on-site in Hawthorne. Required 2+ years in technical recruiting, strong stakeholder management, and a proven track record in full lifecycle recruiting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience; or associate degree and 2+ years of experience; or 3+ years of professional experience as a recruiter in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years of technical recruiting experience.
• Experience with in-house recruiting.
• Experience with high volume recruiting.
• Experience recruiting skilled labor.
• Strong tenure with demonstrated success in recruiting roles.
• Full life cycle recruiting from sourcing to closing.
• Comfort with reviewing, evaluating and reporting on recruiting data.
• Ability to distinguish between top 50% and top 5% of talent.
• Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
• Ability to influence decisions without dictating client decisions.
• Ability to multi-task and work with little direction while being a team member.

Responsibilities

• Meet with client groups to discuss headcount, new requisitions, hiring strategy and interview feedback.
• Screen candidates who apply to requisitions.
• Source candidates, including passive candidates.
• Discuss screened candidates with client groups and recommend top candidates.
• Give tours to candidates before onsite.
• Attend interviews alongside client groups as an extra set of eyes.
• Begin the offer process including background checks and extending offers.
• Manage candidate pipeline and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
