Job summary

Thinking Machines in San Francisco hires a Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for infrastructure, systems, and networking roles. You will partner with engineers and leaders to design interview loops and craft closing strategies in a competitive market.

This high-ownership role requires deep technical conversation about distributed training, cluster orchestration, and Kubernetes, plus building proactive sourcing strategies to attract top talent. Visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience for infrastructure, platform, or systems roles.
• Ability to engage in substantive technical conversations about infrastructure domains (distributed systems, networking, containers).
• Experience partnering with hiring managers on intake, bar calibration, and interview loop design.
• Strong independent judgment and ability to manage multiple searches with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting — sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and closing for infrastructure, systems, and networking roles.
• Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders on role scoping and interview loop design.
• Build proactive sourcing strategies and outbound campaigns to reach passive, highly specialized infrastructure talent.
• Serve as SME across distributed training, cluster networking, Kubernetes/container orchestration, and systems languages.
• Calibrate talent bar with engineering leaders and provide clear feedback to interviewers.
