Patronus AI, Inc. is seeking a Technical Recruiter to own the end-to-end process for researchers and engineers in SF.

You will build pipelines from cutting-edge publications and open-source work, partnering with co-founders and hiring managers to translate vague needs into concrete roles. You will develop domain fluency to evaluate qualifications, close candidates, and negotiate offers, while leveraging AI to automate market mapping, outreach, and funnel analysis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting, including startup experience.
• Proven track record hiring engineers or researchers with competing offers.
• Ability to source candidates not actively applying.
• Technical fluency to read resumes, GitHub, or papers.
• Strong negotiation and value proposition skills.
• Clear judgment about hiring bar in founder-led environment.
• Excellent written communication and outreach.
• Interest in AI safety and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hiring for research and engineering roles.
• Build pipeline from publications, citations, open-source contributions, and conferences.
• Partner with co-founders to scope roles and set expectations.
• Develop domain fluency to evaluate qualifications.
• Close candidates and manage offers and negotiations.
• Own candidate experience end-to-end.
• Leverage AI for market mapping, research, outreach, and funnel analysis.
• Report on pipeline health and outcomes.
• Grow capabilities beyond the role with ambiguous recruiting.
