Job summary

Hyperbolic is scaling rapidly and seeks a Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle searches for infrastructure, distributed systems, AI/ML and GPU cloud roles. You will partner with founders and engineering leaders, sourcing, engaging, and closing top engineers while shaping our recruiting engine.

You'll manage intake, build candidate pipelines, and drive a fast, thoughtful interview process with a strong emphasis on data and candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience at high-growth startups or tech companies.
• Track record of hiring engineers in infrastructure, distributed systems, cloud, AI/ML or dev tools.
• Strong sourcer with ability to engage passive talent.
• Enough technical fluency to speak credibly with senior engineers.
• Able to manage a full requisition load while keeping hiring managers aligned and moving quickly.
• Data-minded with use of funnel metrics and market intel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to sell a mission.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and owning process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and technical roles from intake to offer.
• Run intake meetings with hiring managers to define role requirements and search strategy.
• Proactively source passive candidates via LinkedIn, GitHub, and communities.
• Write compelling outreach and pitch Hyperbolic's mission and challenges.
• Screen candidates for technical fit, motivation and culture add; calibrate with managers.
• Coordinate interview loops and gather feedback for timely decisions.
• Manage offers and closing with Head of Talent on leveling and compensation.
• Deliver a fast, thoughtful candidate experience at every stage.
• Keep ATS data clean and report funnel health, time-to-hire, source effectiveness.
• Help build employer brand through events, content and referrals.
