Job summary

Hyperbolic is seeking an experienced technical recruiter to own end-to-end engineering hiring in a fast-growing environment in California. You will craft targeted outreach, engage passive engineers, and drive hiring across AI/ML, infrastructure, and cloud domains.

You will work closely with the Head of Talent and engineering leaders to define role requirements, build a compelling candidate experience, and optimize the recruiting funnel using data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience for engineering teams.
• Experience sourcing for AI/ML, infrastructure, cloud talent.
• Strong ability to engage passive candidates and build relationships.
• Familiarity with modern ATS and AI-assisted search tools.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle engineering recruiting from intake to offer.
• Lead intake meetings with hiring managers to define requirements and strategy.
• Proactively source passive candidates across LinkedIn, GitHub, and communities.
• Screen for technical fit, motivation and culture add; calibrate market expectations.
• Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and drive timely hiring decisions.
• Manage offers and closing in partnership with leadership on leveling/compensation.
• Deliver a fast, thoughtful candidate experience at every stage.
• Maintain clean pipeline data in the ATS and report on funnel health.
