Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support hiring managers in building high‑performing teams, with a strong focus on PhD internship and New Grad engineering talent. This role will play a critical part in scaling early‑career technical pipelines while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Top 3 Responsibilities
- Full‑Cycle Technical Recruiting: Own end‑to‑end recruiting for engineering roles, with a focus on PhD interns and New Grad talent, including sourcing, pipeline building, and offer management
- Strategic Business Partnership: Act as a trusted partner to hiring managers, advising on hiring strategies, talent market insights, and HR‑related topics including compensation and benefits
- Industry Expertise & Brand Promotion: Leverage deep knowledge of the technical talent landscape, target companies, and open‑source communities to attract top talent and represent the organization at networking events and meetups
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full‑cycle recruiting efforts for engineering roles, with emphasis on early‑career talent (PhD and New Grad)
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines from scratch for high‑priority hiring needs
- Deliver a high‑touch candidate experience from initial outreach through offer stage
- Partner closely with hiring managers to align on hiring strategies and team goals
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on HR‑related topics including compensation and benefits
- Attend networking events, university engagements, and industry meetups to attract talent
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to reach niche technical talent pools
- Build strong cross‑functional relationships across teams
- Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging talent communities
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience
- 1+ year of technical sourcing experience
- Experience recruiting for engineering roles (early‑career, PhD, or university recruiting preferred)
- Experience in both agency and in‑house recruiting environments
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong technical acumen and ability to engage with engineering talent
