Why This Role Matters

Responsibilities

- Facilitate planning and delivery activities, including program increment planning or equivalent periodic planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, scrum check-ins, reviews, retrospectives, and dependency reviews.
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to clarify priorities, outcomes, acceptance criteria, estimates, owners, dependencies, and target dates.
- Facilitate product-management practices, including outcome definition, roadmap and backlog development, prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and translating strategic objectives into actionable delivery plans.
- Provide agile coaching to teams and stakeholders to improve delivery practices, role clarity, collaboration, planning discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain backlog quality by identifying stale, incomplete, duplicate, blocked, or incorrectly classified work and coordinating appropriate follow-up.
- Document commitments, decisions, risks, dependencies, blockers, and action items, and track them through resolution.
- Monitor delivery progress and proactively escalate aging, blocked, overdue, or at-risk commitments.
- Develop practical measures and dashboards covering demand, backlog health, delivery capacity, throughput, cycle time, aging, blocked work, predictability, and delivery risk.
- Establish clear metric definitions, calculation logic, data sources, reporting cadences, and data-quality checks.
- Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and commitments, including accountable owners, committed dates, status, blockers, completion criteria, and evidence of completion.
- Track improvement actions arising from lessons learned and operational post-mortems through completion or formal disposition.
- Prepare concise leadership updates that communicate priorities, progress, capacity, risks, dependencies, decisions needed, and recommended tradeoffs.
What You Bring
- Experience leading agile delivery for cybersecurity, infrastructure, platform engineering, technology operations, or similarly complex technical portfolios.
- Strong Jira administration and reporting experience, including workflows, boards, filters, dashboards, permissions, automation, and data-quality practices.
- Experience facilitating agile planning and delivery ceremonies across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.

- Ability to translate complex technical delivery information into concise leadership reporting and decision support.
- Demonstrated ability to manage dependencies, follow through on commitments, and create transparency across cross-functional work.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills, with attention to data quality and operational continuity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting cybersecurity or adjacent risk and technology functions.
- Experience working in scaled agile or multi-team delivery environments.
- Experience establishing new portfolio reporting, delivery governance, or work-management practices.
