Job summary

PNM Resources is seeking a Technical Project Manager II in the BTS/ Physical Security department. The role focuses on leading multi-department security projects, coordinating internal IT, cybersecurity, facilities, and external vendors across a regulated infrastructure.

Responsibilities include directing complex projects, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with cyber and physical security requirements. A Bachelor’s in a technical field and 5–7 years’ related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience managing enterprise physical security technology platforms (Genetec, CCURE 9000, VMS).
• Experience coordinating security system upgrades across dispersed locations.
• Ability translate security requirements into technical solutions and project deliverables.
• Proven experience leading technical projects from planning to handoff.
• Experience with regulated/critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong communication with internal teams, vendors, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Directs projects to completion within schedule, cost, and performance objectives.
• Leads development of innovative solutions to engineering problems.
• Represents PNM and the project in meetings with agencies and stakeholders.
• Manages environmental permitting strategies and regulatory permits.
• Directs project budgets and tracks costs for management reporting.
• Coordinates internal and external teams, vendors, and consultants.
