We areseekingan experienced technicalsecurityproject manager to oversee the successful delivery ofthe securitysystems forlarge buildings. The individual needs to be experienced in a complex andfast-pacedenvironment and the role is best suited to someone with experience delivering large scale, complex,long-termprojects working between operation security teams and professional design/construction teams.
What you will do
- Maintain an active and thoughtful communication pattern with all project stakeholders, internal and external, while balancing time versus profits to make sure efforts reflect andanticipatedreturn (revenue,growthand customer retention)
- Consistently and effectivelydetermine,allocate, and maximize available resources through project planning to ensure the achievement of sales and project management objectives
- Establish andmaintainan in-depth knowledge of the industry and competitive practices as they relate to multiple markets
- Implement changes in project, contractpricingand installation plans to include the estimation,developmentand submission of change orders
- Support the clients invoicing and collection efforts by not only ensuring all contractual terms and conditions are met initially, but by ensuring all invoicing is completed accurately and on time
- Manage project budget and project P&L
- Prepares the project strategy, installation plan,determinesgoals/objective, manages the plan, prepares and implements job procedures
- Maintain construction schedules and coordinate task-scheduling with other trades
- Maintain all records of job status, jobchangesand material flow
- Define the project risks by working with financial, contract management and management tools to assure project profitability
- Plan and schedule engineering,installationand subcontracting activities
- Supervise installationlaborand sub-contractors
- Prioritize team workload to ensure quality results are delivered on time and within budget
- Troubleshoot project issues and engageappropriate managementand resources as needed to mitigate impacts
- Develop fallback and contingency plans
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degreerequiredwith at least six years of large electronic and protective security project management experience and security industry experience isa must
- A proventrack recordrelating to the ability to manage multi-million dollarsecurity projects to schedule and budget
- Expert knowledge of security design standards and project management techniques and tools; general knowledge of contract laws and regulations
- Ability toassistin enforcement of equipment installation standards, software configuration, solution deployment, and system testing & commissioning
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and documents
- PMP from the Project Management Institute or CSPM from SIA preferred
- Ability to work independently, and perform tasks of moderate to high complexity, which requires knowledge of technical, business, and security risk environments
- Factory certifications in relevant technology platforms and field deployment and configuration experienceisa plus (i.e.;Honeywell, Genetec, Axis,etc..)
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint,Projectand SharePoint).
- Ability toestablishand maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate and influence others

- Ability to conduct on-site construction walk-through inspections and attend onsite customer meetings
