Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our Houston office. You will lead projects from planning through close-out, coordinating budgets, procurement, installation, and client communications to deliver on time and within cost.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of project management experience in technical environments, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• Associates degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years project management or engineering experience.
• PMI certification or related credentials a plus.
• Strong MS Office and project management tools proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manages assigned projects from award through completion, including site management, budgets, and timelines.
• Prepares installation plans, schedules, change proposals and subcontractor coordination.
• Translates customer needs into project plans; negotiates costs and oversees procurement.
• Maintains project records, communicates requirements to teams, and ensures safety and quality.
• Interfaces with customers to maximize satisfaction and acts as a trusted service provider.
