Thomas Jefferson University seeks an experienced program/project manager to plan and oversee technical initiatives, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. You will coordinate resources, align stakeholders, and govern project scope across IT and business teams.

The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans, risk assessments, and disciplined reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree information Sciences and Technology or Information Management or related fields or High School Diploma/GED and 7 years preferred work experience.
• 5 years Progressive experience in information technology, healthcare or business project management related fields.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze and solve problems and interpret data.
• Ability to work well under pressure, in a team environment and to be self-motivated and self disciplined.
• Strong research and strategic analysis skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identifies complex business problems, environments, objectives, and aligns with organizational strategies.
• Establishes project goals and develops plans to meet those goals.
• Maintains project timeframes, budgeting estimates and expected status reports.
• Manages specifications, designs, constructions and updates of efficient project workplans for projects of small to medium complexities.
• Uses project management methodologies to track project performance, schedule adherence and perform risk assessments.
• Coordinates project team members and develops schedules and assigns individual responsibilities.
• Implements strategies that deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Organizes meetings to discuss project goals, daily tasks assigned to technology teams and progress to minimize scope deviation Monitors the development and testing of disaster recovery procedures.
• Coordinates project go-live logistics.
