Job summary

Jefferson Health Plans is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead technical initiatives from planning through delivery. You will organize resources, track budgets, and manage scope, time, and quality, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.

The role requires strong governance, risk assessment, and collaboration with diverse technology teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in information sciences and technology or information management, or related fields; equivalent experience considered.
• 7 years preferred work experience with a focus on IT, healthcare, or business project management.
• 5 years progressive experience in information technology, healthcare or business project management.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze and solve problems and interpret data.
• Ability to work under pressure, in a team environment and to be self-motivated and disciplined.
• Knowledge of processes, applications and technologies in the assigned area(s).
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identifies complex business problems, environments, objectives, and aligns with organizational strategies.
• Establishes project goals and develops plans to meet those goals.
• Maintains project timeframes, budgeting estimates and expected status reports.
• Manages specifications, designs, constructions and updates of efficient project workplans for projects of small to medium complexities.
• Uses project management methodologies to track project performance, schedule adherence and perform risk assessments.
• Coordinates project team members and develops schedules and assigns individual responsibilities.
• Implements strategies that deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Organizes meetings to discuss project goals, daily tasks assigned to technology teams and progress to minimize scope deviation
• Monitors the development and testing of disaster recovery procedures.
• Coordinates project go-live logistics.

• Knowledge of various project management techniques to keep teams aligned and focused on milestone level task reporting.

Physical Demands

Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
