Job summary

Communications Engineering Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead technology projects in the Madison, AL area. You will coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to ensure on-time delivery and safety compliance, while mentoring team members and maintaining client communication.

The role involves planning, risk management, and post-project evaluation, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology experience within CEC or similar company.
• 3+ years of leadership experience within CEC or similar company.
• 2 safety related certifications.
• 1 Industry certification (i.e. NICET, Bicsi, CTS, etc.).
• Certifications and trainings can be obtained during the first year of employment to meet the minimum qualifications when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Notify customer within 48 hours of project Award.
• Review objectives and timelines with customer and establish ongoing communication strategy.
• Ensure all required project information is provided to Operations from Sales and Engineering.
• Assign project tasks within ConnectWise aligned to timelines.
• Review information with key personnel to address questions.
• Create a project plan with milestones to meet budgets and timelines.
• Oversee site walk-throughs to verify locations and safety hazards.
• Lead project Kick-Off meeting and communicate milestones.
• Ensure site evaluations and safety inspections; mentor and correct discrepancies.
• Coordinate changes to SOW and seek Change Order possibilities.
• Coordinate training and documentation completion.
• Provide input to Sales and Engineering for improvements.
