Job summary

South Western Communications is seeking a Project Manager - Field Operations to plan, direct, and control detention project activities. You will supervise install labor and subcontractors, work with engineers on design and drafting, and manage procurement, scheduling, and cost controls to ensure profitable project delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in engineering/installation of relevant systems, strong communication skills, and PM experience with IT equipment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in engineering and installation of low voltage systems, audio systems, IP video or related field.
• Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals, relay logic, and operations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with IT related equipment (servers, databases, networking).
• Project Management experience; IT Project+ or PMP certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintains project plans and specifications.
• Coordinates procurement of materials and timely delivery to site.
• Prepares and executes installation plan.
• Monitors progress, schedules, and costs; communicates with stakeholders.
• Supervises installers and subcontractors; ensures quality installations.
• Keeps records and generates reports for project profitability.
