Job summary

Advanced Project Solutions (APS) in Madison, WI is seeking a Technical Project Coordinator to handle scheduling, coordination with field installation/service technicians, ordering and tracking project materials, and directing installation and minor repairs of fire, burglar, CCTV, and phone systems.

This full-time role requires teamwork, strong verbal and written communication, and solid computer skills to support project personnel and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school; or at least one-to-two years related field experience.
• Familiarity with Partner ACS phone systems, NEC systems, FireLite fire alarm systems, Ademco burglar systems, Genetec DRV solutions, DMP
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret job specific SOW documents, line drawings, user manuals, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good computer skills (Word processing, spreadsheets, database)
• Good organization skills – ability to perform multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling and communication with field installation/service technicians.
• Order and track project materials and direct installation activities.
• Oversee maintenance and minor repairs of fire, burglar, CCTV, and phone systems; support troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
• Support internal projects personnel with various operational tasks and technical issues.
• Ensure proper documentation and status updates across projects.
