Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support Robotics and Maritime programs in Franklin, MA. This on-site role focuses on leading reviews, developing WBS/IMS, and managing schedule, cost, and scope across diverse teams.

The position requires 5+ years of DoD program leadership, a engineering degree, strong Earned Value knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 15% while coordinating with business, engineering and finance teams to deliver contracts on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Lead experience with Department of Defense customers.
• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science Mathematics or equivalent.
• Proven track record of managing programs with challenging technical, schedule, and cost requirements as well as complex customer and subcontractor relationships.
• Hands on experience creating and maintaining plans in MS Project.
• Possess excellent people and leadership skills to lead a multi-functional team.
• Strong customer management skills to meet customer needs without scope growth.
• Ability to perform scope/requirements analysis with customers.
• Estimating with SMEs to develop durations and costs.
• Develop and maintain schedule/budgets using WBS and MS Project.
• Experience with hardware design/development/test/installation/repair desirable.
• Familiar with DOD/MIL standards and acquisition processes.
• Excellent computer skills: Windows, MS Office, MS Project, Deltek CostPoint, Jira, Windchill.
• Earned Value execution experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel up to 15% and obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary customer interface and lead program reviews.
• Create program plans with WBS and IMS for scope management.
• Monitor schedule and financial performance, identify risks and changes.
• Ensure alignment with contract requirements, budgets, and commitments.
• Direct assigned program resources and collaborate with functional managers.
• Support proposals, contract negotiations and awards with cross-functional teams.
