Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support Robotics and Maritime programs in Franklin, MA. This on-site role emphasizes the leadership of program reviews, development of WBS and IMS, and ensuring alignment with contract requirements, budgets, and schedules.

You will manage resources and coordinate with Business Development, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to meet customer needs while controlling scope, cost, and schedule. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Lead experience with DoD customers
• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science Mathematics or equivalent
• Proven track record of managing programs with challenging technical, schedule, and cost requirements
• Hands on experience creating and maintaining plans in MS Project
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Willing to travel up to 15%
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Act as primary customer interface for all program aspects and lead program reviews to discuss technical, cost and schedule activities.
• Create program plans including the development of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Monitor and assess program performance against plan (schedule and financial), identify risk and scope changes, develop corrective actions.
• Control expenditures per the project budget and report monthly on budget to actual performance via ETC.
• Develop and maintain schedule/budgets with WBS and MS Project.
• Direct assigned program resources and coordinate with functional managers.
• Support proposal efforts, contract negotiations and awards.
