Job summary

QinetiQ US in Franklin, MA is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support robotics and maritime programs on-site. The role focuses on interfacing with the customer, developing plans, and managing scope, schedule, and cost to meet contract requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years leading DoD programs, strong MS Project and EVMS familiarity, and proven leadership across multi-disciplinary teams. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Project Lead experience with DoD customers.
• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or equivalent.
• Proven track record of managing programs with challenging technical, schedule and cost requirements.
• Hands on experience creating and maintaining MS Project plans.
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills for cross-functional teams.
• Excellent customer management and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% and obtain/maintain a DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary customer interface for all program aspects and lead program reviews.
• Create program plans including WBS and IMS to manage scope to contract requirements.
• Monitor performance against schedule and budget; identify risks and changes.
• Control expenditures and report budget performance monthly via ETC.
• Align team scope, schedule, and financial objectives across functions.
• Develop program resource plans and direct assigned personnel.
• Collaborate with BD, Engineering, Operations and Finance on proposals and contracts.
