Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Technical Program Manager to orchestrate breakthroughs in new product development, leading cross-functional teams from initiation through delivery. You’ll plan, direct, and monitor schedules and budgets to drive successful product cost and performance outcomes.

You will work with supply chain, operations, and engineering stakeholders to ensure supplier readiness, manage cost roadmaps, and deliver high-quality products on schedule in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with no prior professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in continuous improvement or technical program management.
• Experience guiding cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels of the company.

Responsibilities

• Form and lead cross-functional teams to define sourcing strategies for new products and supplier selection.
• Act as single point of contact to confirm supplier readiness before milestones.
• Manage transition of new products from pilot to volume production.
• Use software tools to analyze cost performance and drive actions to meet cost targets.
• Develop supplier selection processes and identify supply chain risks for sourcing decisions.
• Present cost targets and progress to program executives and stakeholders.
• Provide feedback to engineering on DFx (cost and manufacturability).
• Demonstrate leadership, strategic thinking, and attention to detail in execution.
