Job summary

Mastercard is seeking an Associate Managing Consultant in Technical Program Management to lead technology programs and strategic initiatives for clients in financial services and related industries.

You will manage scope, requirements, technical delivery, and stakeholder engagement across client engagements, ensuring successful execution while proactively addressing risks and dependencies. This role blends consulting with Mastercard's data assets and platforms to drive tangible client value.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in Technical Program Management or related disciplines.
• Experience leading cross-functional software delivery and technology projects.
• Strong business analysis, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder interviewing.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
• Familiarity with SDLC, product development processes, and delivery practices.
• Experience managing risks, milestones, and stakeholder communications.
• Exposure to financial services, payments, or fintech industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with executive-level presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel to client sites semi-regularly.

Responsibilities

• You will lead technology programs and strategic initiatives with moderate oversight.
• You will collaborate across business and technology teams to ensure client engagements succeed.
• Lead multiple concurrent programs and digital transformation initiatives for clients in financial services and related industries.
• Define objectives, capture requirements, prioritize initiatives, and translate needs into delivery plans.
• Oversee planning, risk management, testing, deployment, and adoption activities.
• Support implementation of Mastercard products, APIs, and data solutions.
• Develop executive-level status reporting, KPIs, roadmaps, and governance materials.
• Build trusted relationships with Product Managers, Technology Leaders, and Program Sponsors.
• Monitor budget, dependencies, and milestones to align with strategy.
• Coordinate with finance, vendors, and engagement teams on project financials.
