Job summary

Mastercard’s Portfolio Intelligence team in Arlington, VA is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive delivery of data-driven, scalable solutions. You will lead cross‑functional teams across engineering, product, and stakeholders, translating priorities into executable plans and ensuring timely delivery.

The role requires hands-on leadership, technical depth, and strong communication to manage dependencies and drive program governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience delivering complex technology projects as a TPM or similar role.
Understanding of Agile and hybrid delivery models and the SDLC.
Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end execution of Portfolio Intelligence initiatives, ensuring work is clearly scoped, prioritized, planned, tracked, and delivered.
Build and maintain integrated program plans that account for milestones, sequencing, dependencies, constraints, risks, and contingency planning.
Drive accountability across engineering, product, stakeholder, and partner teams by ensuring owners, actions, decisions, blockers, and delivery commitments are clear and actively managed.
Partner across Mastercard to align priorities, manage dependencies, remove blockers, and ensure consistent progress toward delivery outcomes.
Provide data-driven updates to stakeholders and lead execution reviews, risk reviews, and retrospectives.
Define and track execution metrics to improve transparency and predictability across the program.
