Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in Nashua, NH seeks a Technical Product Specialist to join the High-Speed Backplane team. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, marketing, and production to translate customer requirements into actionable product plans and support the full product lifecycle.

You will prepare technical materials, assist with pricing strategies, and help develop datasheets and marketing collateral. Travel up to 10% is expected as part of customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 2+ years providing product marketing and sales technical support to drive commercial wins.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to lead and navigate dynamic environments.
• Technical aptitude, including ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with global and multicultural teams in marketing, engineering, quality, manufacturing, vendors, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with sales team to support new commercial opportunities, participate in customer engagements, gather technical/product requirements and drive internal resources.
• Prepare materials and participate in product presentations as necessary.
• Support RFQs, RFPs. Aid in development of pricing strategy that achieves target profit margins at all stages of the product life cycle.
• Lead product sampling process for customers including managing and communication of schedules to customers.
• Provide technical marketing support for the development and implementation of Amphenol products.
• Develop marketing materials including product datasheets, press releases, and other online or printed marketing collateral.
• Develop sales and marketing tools, providing technical assistance to customers and sales team.
• Data analysis of product sales including tracking of revenue/margin by product/part number/region/customer.
• Job-related travel up to 10%.
