Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the design and integration of high-speed cable backplane systems. You will partner with OEMs, program managers and product lines to deliver complex interconnect solutions from ideation through volume production.

The role requires deep knowledge of signal integrity, mechanical tolerances and EMI/EMC, with travel 30-50%. Located across multiple US sites including Santa Clara, Nashua, and Austin.

Formación

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10 years of demonstrated experience in interconnect solutions.
• Experience with signal transmission, EMI/EMC, and CAD tools.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architectural design and technical strategy for customer CBS solutions.
• Define system-level requirements including high-speed signal integrity and thermal efficiency.
• Develop technical specs, schematics, and proof-of-concept models for cable backplanes.
• Serve as primary contact between cable cartridge manufacturers and OEMs.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across multiple business units.
• Prepare materials and lead high-level product presentations to executives.
