Job summary

TrustedTech is the first hire on the Product team, building a proprietary billing, subscription management, and CPQ platform. You will shadow the VP, Product, onboard with the business, and then own the platform's day-to-day roadmap and delivery.

This is a hands-on, technical role requiring fluency with API specs, data models, and direct technical conversations with engineers to ensure accurate implementation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a product manager or product owner, including 2+ years on a B2B, billing, subscription, or CPQ system
• Technical fluency with API specs and data models
• Experience with backlog and roadmap tools (Jira/Confluence) and agile ceremonies

Responsibilities

• Shadow the VP, Product, on requirements across the platform's five core domains (billing, subscription lifecycle management, invoicing, quoting/CPQ, provisioning)
• Own the platform backlog, maintain a transparent, prioritized backlog
• Document edge cases and workflow nuances (proration, co-terming, mid-term changes, renewals, credits, refunds, overages)
• Translate business requirements into technical specs and acceptance criteria
• Support modeling of commerce scenarios (monthly, annual, multi-year terms) and deal economics in the quoting flow
• Coordinate integration with Salesforce, ERP (NetSuite), and vendor APIs
• Define reconciliation processes to keep subscription state in agreement across systems
• Run agile ceremonies with engineering, coordinate UAT, track roadmap progress
