Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Technical Product Manager (Spectrum Dominance) to drive requirements, backlog, and revenue for the portfolio. You’ll translate defense requirements into software features and work across R&D, engineering, operations, and GTM to deliver robust, software-defined spectrum dominance solutions.

The role is located in Irvine, CA, on a hybrid schedule with on-site days in Irvine and West LA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of technical product management or systems engineering in defense, aerospace, or wireless domains.
• Strong knowledge of signal processing, wireless communications, RF systems, SDRs, DSP, or MANETs.
• Ability to translate complex algorithms or military use cases into clear software requirements and user stories.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional R&D, engineering, operations, and sales to meet release timelines.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Translate DoD mission requirements into structured user stories and technical specifications.
• Partner with R&D to translate LPI/LPD and anti-jamming techniques into feature sets.
• Own end-to-end software and firmware backlog for spectrum dominance features.
• Coordinate with waveform R&D and software teams to integrate with MN-MIMO architecture.
• Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and releases using Jira; travel up to 25%.
