Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a highly motivated Technical Product Manager (Spectrum Dominance) to drive requirements, backlog ownership, and revenue growth for the spectrum dominance portfolio. You will translate complex defense concepts into software features, firmware, and intuitive operator experiences.

Located in Irvine, CA with hybrid work and possible remote options; travel up to 25% for field testing and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical product management or systems engineering experience within defense, aerospace, or wireless communications.
• Strong working knowledge of signal processing, wireless communications, RF systems, SDRs, DSP, or MANETs.
• Demonstrated experience translating complex mathematical algorithms or military use cases into actionable software requirements.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams to meet release timelines.
• U.S. Citizen; active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months; background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Translate DoD mission requirements, signal analysis concepts, and spectrum operations needs into structured user stories and specifications.
• Translate LPI/LPD and anti-jam techniques into clear features with intuitive operator experiences.
• Own end-to-end software and firmware backlog for spectrum dominance features.
• Ensure waveforms integrate with MN-MIMO architecture and StreamCaster hardware.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cadences; manage scope against timelines.
• Capture field feedback and translate it into backlog items for product updates.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, operations, and sales to align execution with business strategy.
• Travel up to 25% for field testing, customer integrations, and meetings.
