Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Technical Product Manager (Spectrum Dominance) in Irvine, CA. The role focuses on translating DoD requirements into software features and firmware, owning the spectrum dominance backlog, and partnering with R&D and GTM teams.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in tech product management or systems engineering in defense/aerospace, strong signal processing knowledge, and US citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of technical product management or systems engineering in defense/aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of signal processing, RF systems, SDRs, DSP or MANETs.
• Ability to translate complex algorithms into clear software requirements and user stories.
• Influence cross-functional R&D, engineering, operations and sales to meet release timelines.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contracts.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsabilités

• Requirements engineering translating DoD mission needs into structured specs.
• Algorithm-to-feature translation with R&D to define software features.
• Product & Waveform ownership for spectrum dominance features.
• Technical waveform alignment with MN-MIMO architecture and StreamCaster hardware.
• Sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cadences via Jira.
• Capture field feedback to evolve backlog and improve software.
• Travel up to 25% to support field testing and customer meetings.
