Job summary

igus Inc. is seeking a technically oriented sales professional to support and grow the drylin product line in the US, Canada, and Mexico. You will work closely with customers, sales, and engineering to meet revenue and satisfaction goals.

The role involves project management, pricing support, training development, and collaboration with our Germany team on programs. Occasional travel and strong MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or equivalent with technical sales experience
• Strong technical skills and ability to present concepts and hands-on technique
• Travel domestically and internationally occasionally
• Self-starter, team oriented, with strong organization and time management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in the assigned Product groups to the US teams
• Maintain up-to-date material and product knowledge
• Identify suitable products using expert systems and online tools to reduce costs or improve technology
• Act as primary project manager on projects with direct customer contact
• Assist in pricing standard and custom parts to support quotes
• Collaborate with igus Germany on projects
• Develop and maintain training programs for new hires
• Assist Product Manager in Trade Show planning and coordination
• Monitor market and competition trends
• Support marketing activities such as catalogs and digital content
• Coordinate and conduct sales campaigns
• Help establish special project lists and competition lists
