Job summary

Igus Inc. is seeking a Product Sales Specialist to drive growth in North America by developing new business opportunities and managing customer relationships. You will conduct technical sales visits, respond to inquiries, and craft proposals and quotes with support from marketing and sales teams.

In this role you will train local sales teams, coordinate campaigns, and stay ahead of industry trends to deliver value-based solutions and increase win rates, while traveling up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years sales experience, preferably in manufacturing or technical fields.
• High level of technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and develop new customers, applications, and market opportunities.
• Conduct technical sales visits with customers to find solutions.
• Generate sales and deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Serve as the go-to expert for product features, benefits, and use cases.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and tailor solutions to customer needs.
• Develop technical understanding of product lines to communicate quickly to customers.
• Coordinate and conduct sales campaigns.

• Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and technical documentation.
• Develop sales materials and value-based messaging.
• Assist in developing sales strategies and proposals to increase win rates.
