Job summary

Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a highly technical, customer-facing engineer to drive product definition and global business development for the Magnetic Current Sensing portfolio. You will translate complex system challenges in high-voltage power conversion into detailed IC requirements and author technical proposals, collaborating with customers and IC design teams to shape the roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in systems engineering, applications engineering, or technical product marketing in semiconductors.
• Hands-on understanding of high-voltage power conversion, motor drives, or magnetic sensors.
• Strong ability to translate customer challenges into IC requirements and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Translate system-level challenges into IC requirements and create technical concept proposals.
• Engage with lead customers’ engineering teams to solve high-voltage power conversion issues.
• Define and execute the short- and long-term technical product roadmap for Magnetic Current Sensing.
• Support RTM process and ensure designs meet system-level performance and cost targets.
• Create technical collateral, reference designs, and thought leadership content.
