Job summary

Northland Staffing Solutions in Burnsville, MN is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers at the counter, by phone and email, and help identify the right product or solution for their needs.

The role requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn technical products and terminology. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with an expected 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience in a retail or B2B environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills; willingness to learn ERP systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service at the counter, by phone and email.
• Identify customer needs and recommend parts or solutions.
• Enter orders, process invoices and payments, and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain store displays and ensure a clean, organized environment.
• Assist with order fulfillment and packing as needed.
