Job summary

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. in Savage, MN is seeking a Parts Specialist to assist customers sourcing parts for equipment and to manage daily warehouse tasks such as shipping, receiving, stocking shelves and inventory control.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of warehouse and/or sales experience.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and keep an organized environment.
• Work responsibly as an individual with minimal direction.
• Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.

• Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for all incoming phone and web parts requests.
• Research parts solutions for customers - used, new surplus, and aftermarket solutions.
• Process sales orders and returns.
• Utilize company, vendor, and industry resources to constantly grow knowledge of machines and their applicable parts.
• Assist customers looking for hard-to-find parts utilizing various resources.
• Responsible for effectively creating and processing transfer orders and creating/ receiving vendor purchase orders.
• Shipping and receiving of parts.
• Process cores and returns.
• Stocking shelves and assisting with inventory accuracy.
