Job summary

ERM is seeking a Technical Partner to grow our Natural Resources practice across North America, with a hybrid role based in the USA. The role emphasizes technical leadership in ecological resources and regulatory permitting, while expanding ERM's market presence and client partnerships.

You will lead business development, mentor multidisciplinary teams, and collaborate with service line leaders to drive growth in Power, Diversified Energy, and Technology sectors.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting.
• Proven leadership in mitigation and ecorestoration, including endangered species and habitat conservation.
• Deep understanding of conventional and renewable energy markets in North America.
• Strong business development track record, generating and delivering multi-million-dollar programs.
• Expertise in HCPs, and regional permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and client engagement activities within the Power, Diversified Energy, and Technology sectors.
• Provide senior technical leadership for biological resources, ecological restoration, habitat conservation, and environmental permitting programs.
• Support clients through project planning, permitting, construction, and operations phases.
• Develop and grow key client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Mentor and develop technical staff and project managers.
• Collaborate with ERM partners and service line leaders to support regional and national growth initiatives.
• Drive project delivery excellence while meeting financial, safety, and quality objectives.
