Job summary

ERM is seeking a Technical Partner to grow our Natural Resources practice, focusing on power, renewable energy, diversified energy, and technology sector clients across North America. This hybrid role can be based at any ERM office in the USA.

As a partner, you will provide technical leadership in biological resources, ecological mitigation, habitat conservation, ecological restoration, and environmental permitting, while mentoring multidisciplinary teams and expanding ERM's market presence.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive environmental consulting experience.
• Leadership in mitigation and ecorestoration, including endangered species and habitat conservation.
• Deep understanding of conventional and renewable energy markets in North America.
• Strong business development track record delivering multi-million-dollar programs.
• Expertise in HCPs, and regional permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and client engagement activities within the Power, Diversified Energy, and Technology sectors.
• Provide senior technical leadership for biological resources, ecological restoration, habitat conservation, and environmental permitting programs.
• Support clients through project planning, permitting, construction, and operations phases.
• Develop and grow key client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Mentor and develop technical staff and project managers.
• Collaborate with ERM partners and service line leaders to support regional and national growth initiatives.
• Drive project delivery excellence while meeting financial, safety, and quality objectives.
