Job summary

Amazon Lab126 seeks a Manager, Technical Operations to lead a senior team responsible for factory readiness, production launches, and sustained operations. You will shape strategy, drive cross‑functional execution, and deliver programs on time, at low cost, and high quality.

You will build a high‑performing team and guide them through recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management while applying Lean and Six Sigma to optimize processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, with manufacturing focus.
• Experience in high‑volume manufacturing operations and process development.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive program delivery.
• Strong QA knowledge and experience communicating to senior leadership.
• 10+ years in manufacturing operations with 3+ years leading teams of ICs.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance, delivery, and development of a multi‑discipline team across factory readiness and sustained operations.
• Define goals and strategy with capacity planning, cost targets, and on‑time delivery commitments.
• Set priorities, align resources, and remove roadblocks for on‑schedule, on‑budget delivery.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding to accelerate DPO program execution and skill growth.
• Coach direct reports and provide regular performance feedback.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma improvements to reduce defects and waste.
