Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Manager, Technical Operations to lead a senior team driving in-region postponement factory readiness, production launches, and sustained operations. You will guide cross-functional execution, optimize costs, and ensure high quality while scaling automation capabilities.

The role requires building a high-performing team, developing leaders, and delivering on-time results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments.
Experience with automation and analysis to streamline challenges.
Knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
2+ years of PLC programs experience.
Understanding of building codes and regulations (Life Safety, NFPA, NEC, OSHA).
Program management spanning planning, execution and delivery.
Experience presenting results to senior leadership across teams.
10+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years leading teams of technical ICs.
Data analysis using Matlab, JMP, or Minitab.

Responsibilities

Own performance, delivery, and development of a multi-level team across factory readiness and operations.
Define team goals and strategy aligned to customer problems and business needs.
Set program priorities and remove roadblocks across functions.
Lead recruitment and onboarding to accelerate skill growth.
Coach and develop direct reports and provide regular feedback.
Drive Lean and Six Sigma process improvements and cost reductions.
Communicate program status, risks, and decisions to leadership up to three levels above.
